Marianna Urdhin has worked as an NHS Wellbeing Practitioner since 2003. Over these 13 years she has amassed extensive experience of working with people from diverse backgrounds and marginalised groups. Marianna is a whole-hearted advocate of facilitating emotional wellbeing. Thus, she has created several health and lifestyle programmes, including the ‘Health for Me’ self-care initiative which was ‘Highly Commended’ at the 2012 North West Public Health Awards.
Since 2005, Marianna volunteered as a counsellor at Listening Ear Merseyside and The Rape and the Sexual Abuse Centre (RASA). Marianna is a fully accredited BACP counsellor since 2013, she works with young people (aged 16+), adults, Employee Assistance Programmes and with students at the University of Liverpool.
In her spare time, Marianna is passionate about food, travel and nurturing her creativity.
Marianna is a Critical Incident Team member, trauma counsellor and Power to Recover online coach.
